60 years family Skardarasy and the Zürserhof
The Zürserhof has always been glamorous. However it takes a host family, who live for the hotel with their heart and soul, to make it one of the best addresses on the Arlberg for more than 60 years.
A great deal has taken place on the Arlberg since 1955, when Ernst and Hilde Skardarasy bought what was already the exclusive Zürserhof from Count Tattenbach. The Zürserhof has grown, become even more exclusive and, with the opening of the Aureus SPA last winter, has put on a new, luxurious coronet. The exceptional oasis of pampering is the latest, but most definitely not the last highlight with which the Skardarasy family will surprise its guests.
Offering ever more in the Zürserhof is what spurs the host family on. Being innovative and pioneering was already important to the first generation of Skardarasys. And thus, as early as 1956, the Zürserhof featured spacious apartments with their own bath and fireplace – an absolute novelty back then. On account of their many travels, today’s guests are indeed accustomed to an exclusive ambience. However, even for globetrotting guests, the familiar atmosphere and outstanding service transform the Zürserhof into something special among all the 5-star hotels of this world.
